through the pines...

walking to the car from the beach...
Sophie, Cris, me, and Marie

I'm not very faithful to post on here but since my sisters have started up again I must too...:D

September is here and summer is slowly coming to an end. It's still nice during the day but in the evenings it cools down quite a bit.

Last week we went to a water park and all day we went up and down the slides. (We were all so sore the next few days) The highest and most "dangerous" slide was called "Kamikaze." They took a video of Sophie and me going down and I will try to post it sometime soon.

star picking

Tonight Lorenzo asked me to pick a star out of the sky for him.....and so we tried.

I has a sad

I REALLY REALLY REALLY miss lot's of things...and I just let myself think about it today. I never thought I'd see the day, but I am officially EMO...at least I feel that way, you can ask Gabe to confirm that. (pst...I even hug him from time to time)

I MISS....

-Gene
-sleeping with him
-cuddling with him
-just randomly putting my hand up his shirt (I prob miss that the most)
-my room being messy (yeah, can you believe it. I've lost my mind!)
-Laura
-getting hugs
-squeezing her boobs
- her squeezing mine
-both their kisses
-someone to talk to
-all our home members being home
-having a choice on the schedule
-having free time during the day (welcome to the real world, I know!)
-sometimes eating breakfast cuz it's yummy (cuz Mercy made it)
-seeing happy people (besides Pandita)
-not being sick
-not being tired all the time
-being able to sleep
-feeling happy
-not feeling stressed all the time
-not being sad (told you I was EMO)
-hanging out
-watching so SYTYCD
-smelling Mercy's perfume after she just put on her make up
-going on walks with Mercy
-Mercy getting excited about a tiny little thing she found or got or a photo she took etc..
-Meg's laugh and big eyes
-Meg's usual mistakes around the house
-me watching Meg exercise (lol, pathetic I know)
-hearing Oli sniff or sneeze around the house (if you read this don't take it personally I said I miss it!)
-going into the girls room other than to put my make up on
-seeing people
-eating with people

it's crazy and the month is not even 1/3rd through....sigh and I could think of so much more I miss.... if you think of me, say a prayer for me.

A happy, squishy, chum pic to end on.

South Africa

Gordons Bay

Lorenzo & Rascal (rascal is the dog)

Strand Beach, we stayed just across the road from here for a month

The Waterfront, Captetown

Hey there! Finally giving a shout from South Africa
It's been over 2 months now & we finally moved into our new house & got an internet connection!
Its a beautiful house, little pool, palm trees, lots of wind, near the beach, and this winter has been surprisingly nice & sunny!
We are living in Gordons Bay now, so far its been nice being here, lots of work to do with setting up but change is always good esp when it takes you out of your comfort zone & teaches you to stretch your faith & hold on through the tough times!
I miss all my family so much!
A big CONGRATULATIONS to Lily & Gene! The happy news makes me happy!
I love you guys!
Ciao for now.

Cookies w/ kids

Everyone that is away have been so faithful with their blogs! Meg with her happenings in Singapore and Mercy with hers; plus the FDTP one now. They have been keeping everyone so updated that I felt the need to post something to keep them up to date with "our happenings." So here goes....
Today the kids made shortbread cookies for our A.E party tomorrow...all different flavors...all different decorations too. It was fun, but my favorite one was the Alien faced one. Aren't they all pretty and cute!?

To confirm the rumors....

...And let the whole world know. (if you didn't know already) YES! Gene and I are engaged. He proposed to me on my Birthday... and it is now official. No, I am not PG and yes, it is Gene. There is no plan, I don't know when the wedding is...I'm just counting the days till his return, and Sept is over.

Cheers!

It was all about me!

This free day my sweet sisters planned a sister/family day out together for my upcoming birthday since they wouldn't be free on that day. It was loads of fun and FULL of surprises! Here is how the day went....

I went over to Mika's Place and we saw a really girly girly film....just by default. Drifted off to sleep while talking...woke up had coffee, pancakes with ice-cream etc...and left the house to go Bowling....ehe, which I found out that I wasn't so bad at, twards the end of the day...ahahah!

Here we are!
Grumpy Mare not so happy with her results

This went on for about 3 hours...but we had ice-cream break!

Then we went to Makuhari to meet up with my brothers and to my surprise Gene too!
We ate at a plce called Tony Roma's. Good stuff! I recomend it!

At first I was determined to take a photo of everything we would order, but then I got carried away with eating once we started...I just barely took a photo of the steak before I put the last piece into my mouth. :P
The drinks were too cool and the frozen cocktails were gorgeously huge!

Then out came the surprise cake and funny birthday song sung by all the staff there. The guy who was leading the song was Indian and I could understand the Japanese ppls following along better than him...was great fun tho'.

Thanks guys! That was so cool and so fun! Way more than I could ever ask for.
You guys are the greatest! It's definately a brithday to remember.
